We will not have a facility for the July 19 VE session as of this date due to the Covid-19 opening plans in NYC.

In the interest of helping serve the Amateur Radio community and those seeking to attain a license or upgrade, we are referring those interested to the Columbia University Radio Club who are providing remote exam sessions.

ATTENTION!

VE Sessions we will be held ACROSS THE STREET from New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital at 501 Sixth Street, “Wesley House” in room 6B, on the sixth floor! Take the elevator to the 6th floor and follow the signs to Room 6B!

What to bring to a VE session:

Pen and Pencil
Photo ID with current mailing address
Simple calculator without programmable memory (if you bring one with memory you’ll be asked to clear all entries)
If you have an FCC issued Amateur License, bring a copy or know your FRN (Federal Registration Number) and Callsign
$15.00 Cash for the ARRL Processing Fee (We collect, not charge)
If you pass the exam, you may take the next level without another fee
If you do not pass the first exam, there will be another fee collected to take it again, at the same session or a future session
